• Position, access: the Zone is located south of the regional road G2- 105 Novo Mesto - MMP Metlika, from Semič crossroads to Gradac crossroads, in the northern part of Metlika. The zone is within an easy reach. In lies the vicinity of the railway station and the airport Prilozje.
• Programme: It is dedicated to all business activities; mixed industrial, commercial, business and artisanal activities.
• Infrastructure : Part of the zone - approx. 3 hectares - is equipped with basic public utility infrastructure: water, electricity, telephone, and sewerage. Good access to the public road.
• Potential, envisaged development: Development and enlargement of the existing zone is envisaged, from the current 6 hectares to 34 hectares. The Municipality of Metlika will start with the first phase of communal construction in 2008, while within the zone area the construction of a building in the size of 1,200 m3 is envisaged during 2008 and 2009 for the purposes of network incubator.
