Explore the old town center of Metlika, which is a treasure trove of culture, art history and the cradle of firefighting.

Melika adventure
The circular trail with various challenges starts in the Bela krajina House of Local Delights, where you will be given a backpack with tools and a map, as well as refreshments for courage and energy.
During the excursion you will learn about the legend of Metlika, draw your family coat of arms, walk through the wild nature right in the historic center of Metlika and try your hand at washing clothes and carrying water in the old ways.
You will also meet Oton Župančič and have your photo taken like a real firefighter.
