You can revel in the luxurious pristine nature in the immediate vicinity of the Kolpa river under a fabric roof, or, better yet, in a small cottage, where you can indulge in the comforts of a camping style that has recently become known as glamping. Campsite Jankovič is popular among nature lovers and suitable for camping between May and September.
In the lower-course of the Kolpa river, where Adlešiči are located, you can canoe down from the village of Žuniči (8 km upstream from Adlešiči) in order to enjoy some peace and quiet along with the spectacular flora and fauna of the Nature Park Kolpa’s protected natural heritage.
Rowing past the forest reserves Marindolska loza and Hrastova loza you will be able to observe grey herons nesting in the highest treetops.
The water temperature is weather related and can, in the summer, be anywhere between 22 °C and 28 °C. A wild swimming spot by the restored stone weir (Tržok weir), is one of the most beautiful wild swimming spots of the Kolpa river and is suitable for children and non-swimmers as well.
Stari pod (Old Barn) features a bar with an outdoor terrace, which offers a wide variety of warm and cold drinks, along with cold appetizers. The covered terrace can accommodate 50 guests but you can also make a reservation for a pleasant picnic on Kolpa’s riverbank.
