The Simonič family vineyards are located in the Bela krajina wine growing region, in Semič, in the area of Črešnjevec and the Semiška gora mountain. These sunny positions and the excellent quality of the soil enable excellent production of grapes for sparkling wines. The vineyards are planted with the varieties of Chardonnay, Traminer, Welschriesling, Sauvignon and Blaufränkisch. All sparkling wines are produced with the classic method with second fermentation in the bottle. The sparkling wines mature in the bottle for at least 18 months.
The specially equipped tasting room can take up to 60 guests; the guests are offered a tasting of ten different sparkling wines, a tour of the cellar, a professional presentation of the sparkling wine production process and advice for serving the individual sparkling wines.
The tastings are performed upon prior reservation and selection of the offer. The tasting encompasses a guided tour of the wine cellar with a tasting of three to eight sparkling wines which can get combined with a cold cut.
