In 2003, the Bela krajina Museum was proud to receive donations of objects by a passionate Metlika collector and physician, Dr Vinko Kambič, and his wife Vilma Bukovec, the opera prima donna. In the fascinating collection of photos, statues and other works by the giants of Slovenian culture, the love of the Bela krajina couple for arts and beauty can be felt. The Kambič Gallery is located in the birth house of the academic Vinko Kambič in Metlika.
