Memorial in Gornje Laze
In the north of the Semič Municipality, in the village of Gornje Laze, a 10-minute drive away from Semič, you will find a monument for the fallen soldiers of the First Bela krajina Troop, which was founded on 28 October 1941 in Smuk. In memory of those who have lost their lives in the National Liberation War, the Semič locals celebrate a municipal holiday on that day.
