What you need to know for a healthy and safe holiday in Slovenia

The Fair Footpath from Vinica to Žuniči takes us through the Regional Park Kolpa. In the past the trail was used by people from nearby and faraway villages, as well as from neighbouring Croatia, when they lead livestock to the fair in Vinica. The traditional hike around the path takes place every spring. A part of the path takes us along the picturesque Kolpa river and pass abandoned mills and sawmills, while the rest of the path winds through villages and forests. We can admire a typical landscape of the region, and observe various natural and cultural treasures.

Traditional hike: third Saturday in the month of April
