
Grdanji Skedenj Educational Trail
The circular educational trail starts in Grič Village, a popular hiking spot, where you can enjoy fresh forest air amidst grasslands. Along the trail discover the village karst pond, which is an important part of the cultural and natural heritage of Bela Krajina. The highlight of the trail is Grdanji Skedenj Karst Cave, once a refuge for locals, during the Ottoman incursions. Bandits, hunters, and partisans also used the cave. The cave is an important shelter for bats and a crucial archaeological site. The educational trail links the area's history and natural splendor.
