Skiing at the Gače Ski Resort

When the slopes of Bela Krajina are covered in snow, recreational alpine and cross-country skiers gladly come to the Ski Resort Gače.
At altitudes ranging from 700 to 965 meters, ski slopes, cross-country ski trails, and a practice area are prepared. Ski schools are staffed by former ski competitors, sports teachers, and coaches with extensive international experience.

The Gače Ski Resort is suitable for all skiers, from beginners to professionals.
The ski resort offers all visitors excellent ski conditions and wonderful vistas via the Dolenjska Region and Bela Krajina to Mount Triglav.
The ski resort offers terrific cross-country trails and a sledding run. The vast and varied terrains are suitable for ski carving.
The 2800-meter course offers super giant slalom with a high difference of 550 meters and excellent conditions for night skiing. The ski resort has a three-seat lift and five ski lifts with a capacity of 5400 skiers per hour.

Cross-country skiing
The cross-country trail starts below the ski slope at the main parking place. It runs along the Kočevski Rog forest path. It is 2,900 meters long and has an ascent of 40 meters. The trail is suitable for both beginners and advanced cross-country skiers.
Do not miss:
- The use of the tracks costs 5 €/day,
- Tracks are maintained only under suitable weather conditions,
- Walking on the track is prohibited,
- The use of the track is at your own risk.

SLEDDING
A magic sledding run awakens every year and becomes the entertainment center for many families. Children with sparkling eyes and rosy cheeks rush through the snow, laughing and enjoying themselves. Here at the Gače Ski Resort sledding brings different generations together, and offers an opportunity to enjoy quality time in the fresh air.

SKI SCHOOLS
The ski schools at the Gače Ski Resort offer ski courses for children, youth, and adults. Ski instructors aim to make the learning process fun and successful. The ski schools are staffed with former ski competitors, sports teachers, and coaches with extensive international experience.
