Župančič Trail

The trail is dedicated to the renowned Slovene poet, Oton Župančič. The trail links places from the poet's birthplace Vinica to Gragatuš Village where he spent his childhood years. During the walk, you can appreciate Bela Krajina's natural and cultural landmarks. The trail leads through the Lahinja Landscape Park, Bela Krajina's natural treasury. From Žeželj Hill, you can gaze at Vinica below and visit the Oton Župančič Memorial House to learn about the poet and his literary works.
