Restaurant Vir ob Kolpi

In the heart of Bela krajina, at an idyllic location nearby the Kolpa River, the Podzemelj camp is located. The popular swimming area has always been known by the locals as Vir (meaning Source). There, you will find a nice open-air restaurant which offers diverse dishes from summer to autumn in genuine atmosphere on a large terrace overlooking the river.
The Bela krajina culinary and à la carte offer, the outstanding wine menu with local wine growers, local craft beer, ice cream parlour and confectionery are only a small part of the camp’s offer. In the summer, the restaurant often hosts live music and gastronomy nights, when you can try out a special Bela krajina menu. They are an eco camp, so the restaurant purchases most of its ingredients from nearby farms and local providers.
