Along Krupa River

This hiking trail is the right choice for lovers of unspoilt nature and tranquillity. The Krupa River, along which most of the trail runs, is a short but extremely watery river that rises under a picturesque 30-metre high rock wall. The trail leads you through a deeply carved canyon valley where karst phenomena, rich flora, and remnants of the past intertwine.
As you walk, you will pass through areas that have been inhabited since prehistoric times. The trail leads past cave structures such as the Judovska Hiša (the only confirmed Palaeolithic cave site in Bela Krajina) and the Lebica Cave. These stops add an educational touch and depth to the trail.
