Lebica–Krupa Karst Educational Trail
The Lebica–Krupa Karst Educational Trail takes you through the karstic landscape. With its many sinkholes, little springs, stone paths, and bracken undergrowth, it forms a natural classroom, where you can learn about the karst phenomena that add to the area’s diversity. During the journey, visit Lebica Water Cave, the 47 m deep Vodenica Sinkhole, Malikovec Cave, and the only paleolithic cave in Bela Krajina, Judovska Hiša Karst Cave. The 30 m tall rock above the Krupa Spring is a must-visit. Enjoy the emerald color of the Krupa River along the nearly 2-kilometer-long trail, leading to the habitat of the only living cave shell, Congeria jalzici.
