The Legacy of Three Painting Colonies, temporary exhibition at Kambič Gallery
On Friday, 2 February 2024, the Kambič Gallery in Metlika opened the exhibition The Legacy of Three Painting Colonies.
Nineteen artists took part in the colonies, some of them in all three colonies, others only in one or two. Thirty-five of the exhibited works with the Bela Krajina theme were given to the gallery. The predominant techniques are oils on canvas and watercolors, with a few drawings. The legacy of the three painting colonies is stored and inventoried in the art collection of the Bela Krajina Museum.
The exhibition is open free of charge from Tuesday to Saturday between 10 am and 4 pm until 31 December 2024.
