In the House of Stories and Old Knowledge in Adlešiči, we bring to life stories about wool, flax, and hemp - raw materials that once meant the life of Bela Krajina. You will be welcomed in traditional dress with Belokranjska Pogača flatbread and homemade brandy, and then we will take you through stories of work in the fields, spinning, and weaving. You will learn how the hands of master weavers used natural fibres to create linen, dresses, and warm woollen blankets. The experience interweaves history, craftsmanship, and storytelling, revealing how the weaving of threads connects people, nature, and the memory of our place.
