Meet the giant of Slovenian modernism at the memorial house of the poet Oton Župančič in Vinica. The exhibition Župančič - Master of Words presents one of Slovenia's most important poets, as well as an outstanding translator and essayist. You can also see the exhibitions Vinica - Centuries by the Kolpa River and the Meritorious People of Bela Krajina. The house offers guided tours of the Župančič - Master of the Word collection, both for school groups and the general public. Visitors learn about the life and works of Otto Župančič and the puzzles, which are particularly highlighted in the outdoor beehive. We organize a variety of creative workshops, which are adapted to the age of the children and to the current monthly theme. In addition to guided tours of the exhibition in the house, we also provide an additional program and temporary exhibitions that can be visited during the tours. We also invite you to visit our museum shop during opening hours, where you can find gifts for your loved ones or take away a souvenir to remind you of your pleasant visit to the house.

Admission to Oton Župančič Memorial House is free for: pre-school children, school groups, people with disabilities and their companions, as well as journalists and promoters of all kinds. Members of national and international professional associations (SMD, ICOM). Participants in all kinds of lectures and training courses organized by the Public Institute. Free admission for all visitors to Oton Župančič Memorial House during the following events: on the occasion of the Cultural Day (8 February), International Museum Day (18 May), the Summer Museum Night (June), the World Tourism Day (27 September), the "Ta veseli dan kulture" event (3 December).
