Destination Bela krajina is a Slovenia GREEN Bronze destination from 2023.

AWARDS, TITLES, CERTIFICATES
In 2023 the Landscape Park Lahinja won the Big See Award for Oton's Adventure.
SLOVENIA UNIQUE 5* EXPERIENCE Bela krajina is among the TOP 100 Green Destination Stories.
2024: with a story about destination management,
2025: with a story about Lahinja Trail, the zero-waste run.
Lahinja In 2024, Trail, Running in Nature became the first event in Slovenia to be awarded three stars as a zero-waste event. In 2025, we successfully kept the stars.
SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY
- A total of 14 e-bikes are in use at 4 stations with the BiKe rental system.
- 7 charging stations for e-cars are available.
- in 2024, the Via cycle route was routed Bela krajina.
SUSTAINABILITY TRAINING
A number of trainings and workshops on sustainability and sustainable business were held for the tourism providers of the White Landscape between 2023 - 2025. We also carried out individual visits before the main season, and in 2025 we organised the 1st White Carpathian Tourist Exchange.
We have developed the Belokranjsko TKBZ, which has included caterers, artisans and producers and processors since April 2024, and certified more than 100 dishes, produce and products.
