Kučar Cycling Route

Follow the local road from Metlika to Semič and turn towards Gradac. There, on the meander of the Lahinja River, you will find a medieval castle. Take a break at Krupa Spring en route to Gradac. Admire the turquoise natural monument. The road from Gradac leads to the village of Prilozje where you can find an airfield and a pond. The route continues along the Kolpa River where you climb Kučar Hill, one of Slovenia's most important archeological sites. As you make your way back to Metlika, a broad-leaf forest will be your companion along the Lahinja River.
