Hotel "Hiša nasprot sonca" is located amidst unspoiled nature near Črnomelj, just 200 meters from the Old Town. The recently renovated building is rich in history and once served as an outpost of the "Military Frontier", set on a hill above Črnomelj, it offers a magnificent view. The nearby forest provides many opportunities for hiking and contact with nature. Its location in the center of Bela Krajina makes it only a short drive from the hotel to see all the sights the beautiful region has to offer. Just a 15-minute drive to the Kolpa River, the proximity of the Lahinja Landscape Park and the Old Town, as well as the many other attractions of Bela Krajina, will ensure that guests will never be bored.
In addition to accommodation facilities, the hotel also offers room rentals for seminars, lectures, workshops, and party organization, for which food and drinks to suit guests' preferences are provided. There are two rooms available, a smaller one of 70 m2, suitable for small, private parties of up to about 30 people, and a larger one of 150 m2, with enough space for a party of up to 80 people, a stage and a dance floor.
The hotel also houses the Gero Jazz Club, which regularly organizes concerts of various musical genres, from jazz and rock'n'roll to authentic folk music from different nationalities of the world.
