Kovačnica Sreče Holiday Home is located in Griblje, just 500 meters from the Kolpa River. It is rated 3* according to the standard classification, and in autumn 2016 it specialized as an accommodation facility for hikers and cyclists - 1 hiker, 1 cyclist.
From spring to late autumn, it opens its doors to families and other private parties who want a casual or active holiday in Bela Krajina. During the other months, various training courses and workshops for personal and business growth - for individuals and companies alike - are held here.
This is an exemplary restored blacksmith's forge, more than 100 years old. On the ground floor, there is a lounge with a large table and open fireplace, a kitchen with a dining area, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. On the upper floor, there are 3 bedrooms, a large covered terrace and a night toilet.
In front of the building, there is a lawn, suitable for children to play or for leisure time. A short distance away there is also an asphalted village playground, where children's playground equipment is also placed.
Under the carport, which used to be a place to tether horses, there is now space to park two cars. Guests can store their bicycles and hiking equipment in the closed garage, which is also part of the building.
The village is located in the flattest part of Bela Krajina, 10 km from Metlika, 12 km from Črnomelj, and only 4 km from the entrance to the Landscape Park Kolpa. This makes the Kovačnica Sreče Holiday Home an excellent position for exploring both Bela Krajina and nearby Croatia.
