Gornje Laze Memorial
In the north of the Municipality of Semič, in the village of Gornje Laze, a 10-minute drive away from Semič, you will find a monument for the fallen soldiers of the First Bela krajina Company, which was founded on 28 October 1941 in Smuk. In memory of those who have lost their lives in the National Liberation War, the Municipality of Semič has a holiday on that day.
