Pastoral Centre
The Pastoral Centre in Črnomelj was opened in 1998, when archaeological excavations were carried out on a site in the middle of the old town centre. The excavations uncovered important remains of the prehistoric, ancient and medieval settlement of today's Črnomelj. The Pastoral Centre is one of the first museum installations in Slovenia where we can view artefacts through a glass floor. The premises are used for occasional art exhibitions, conferences, lectures and other events.
