Three Parishes in Rosalnice
In Rosalnice near Metlika, there is one of the most important pilgrimage paths. It leads to three Gothic churches and a cemetery behind a tall wall. Their special feature is that the northern Our Lady of Sorrows and the southern Church of Our Lady of Lourdes do not have a belfry. Worshippers are greeted only by the bell of the Church Ecce Homo in the middle which serves as the centre of the pilgrimage complex. Every year pilgrims come here at the end of August during Bartholomew the Apostle.
