The Alchemy of Scents – Create Your Own Home Fragrance

Join us by the copper cauldron, where we’ll transform the essence of plants into a magical scent for your home.

Duration: 60 minutes

Step into the world of the ancient art of distillation, where science and magic meet. In this workshop, using a copper still – the very same type used by medieval alchemists – you’ll create a personalised fragrance for your home. Fragrances have long been regarded as a bridge between the visible and the invisible, between the everyday and the sacred.

During the workshop, you will:

learn how, even in ancient times, herbalists and alchemists extracted the ‘soul’ from plants,
choose aromatic plants according to your own inspiration and combine them into a unique herbal blend,
distil your own fragrance, which will become the signature scent of your home,
discover the Šipek educational garden, which, alongside aromatic plants, offers a different approach to self-sufficiency.

We’ll craft the blend through conversation, taking into account your intuition and the inspiration of the moment – which is why no two fragrances are ever the same. Creating a fragrance is a true ritual of transformation, where nature is channelled into scent. The workshop is suitable for anyone who loves natural scents, enjoys being creative, and wants to fill their home with an authentic aroma that they’ve made themselves. The workshop is led by an aromatherapist.

weekend (Fri–Sun): €30 per person (min. 2 people)
