Forest Bathing
Take some time to breathe with the forest – more slowly, more deeply, more fully.
Duration: 2.5 hours
This isn’t just a bath in the forest, but a guided experience in which we experience the forest through all our senses and reconnect with our bodies. It is a tried-and-tested approach to relaxation and health promotion, where, through exercises designed to calm the mind and awaken the senses, you connect with nature and with yourself. This is not recreation or hiking, but a conscious experience of yourself, your body and your surroundings.
Proven positive effects of forest bathing:
- reduces stress and blood pressure,
- strengthens the immune system by increasing the activity of natural killer cells (NK cells),
- improves mood, concentration and sleep quality,
- increases a sense of inner peace and vitality.
Just a few hours in the forest trigger changes that can last for several days – nature really is the best therapist. Research has been carried out in Japan, Europe and the USA.
